12 month Contract position with potential to extend/convert
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable data science and AI models to address complex business and research problems
- Translate business and strategic objectives into clear, actionable data science and machine learning requirements
- Lead the development and optimisation of LLM-powered chatbots and conversational agents, including Generative and Agentic AI solutions
- Develop and evaluate machine learning models across structured and unstructured data
- Communicate insights, results, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field Master's or PhD is preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience building and delivering AI or data-driven solutions in real-world environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical experience using modern AI frameworks and tools
- Experience with advanced analytics (customer modelling, clustering, geospatial, churn) plus model lifecycle management, experiment tracking, and LLM cost/performance optimisation.
- Experience deploying, scaling, and operating AI solutions on public cloud
