Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a small team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical direction
Design, develop, and deploy advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical models to support aerospace operations
Partner with engineering, operations, MRO, and business stakeholders to identify challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions
Drive analytics initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and decision-making
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Review data quality, governance practices, and analytics methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability
Stay updated on data science trends, tools, and best practices, and apply relevant techniques to ongoing projects
Support multiple analytics projects concurrently while ensuring timely delivery and impact
Requirements:
Master's Degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related disciplines is preferred
Proven experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory data science role, with the ability to manage and guide a small team
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks
Solid experience in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data-driven problem solving
Able to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to business and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
Exposure to aerospace systems, engineering systems, or MRO platforms is an added advantage
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) is advantageous
Strong leadership presence, good communication skills, and suitable personality to take on a team lead role
