About The Role
As a Senior Data Scientist within the AI & Data Analytics team, you will assume a key role in driving insights and AI/ML model development. You will focus on high-impact projects that involve close collaboration with strategic partners, including those in the financial/insurance industry. Your work will directly support the creation of innovative, embedded solutions by developing predictive models for customer-centric applications, such as propensity to purchase, customer eligibility, and risk modeling. You will take a leading role in the end-to-end development and productionization of these analytical models, ensuring they are scalable, explainable, and continuously monitored for performance.
Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong proficiency in Machine Learning & Statistical Modelling (including regression, time series forecasting, gradient boosted trees, and causal inference).
- Experience with LLMs & Generative AI (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation).
- Proficiency in data manipulation with SQL, Python, Spark, and Databricks.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including modular code design and version control tools like GitHub.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Airflow).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
