Data Scientist (1 Year Contract)

Role Summary: We are seeking an Applied AI Scientist to lead the design, experimentation, and evaluation of AI models that power intelligent agents across the enterprise. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to translate business problems into AI solutions, focusing on NLP, personalization, and generative AI.

Employment Type: 1 Year Contract

Reports to: Director, Technology

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and prototype AI models for Copilot agents and other intelligent systems.
• Apply techniques in NLP, embeddings, RAG, and LLM fine-tuning to solve real-world problems.
• Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and curate datasets.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and iterate based on feedback.
• Stay current with AI research and integrate relevant advancements into our solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in applied machine learning or data science.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and generative AI.
• Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and model evaluation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
