Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Data Science Manager to lead our data science team in Singapore. You will be responsible for driving data strategy, managing advanced analytics projects, and delivering insights that shape business decisions and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists and analysts
- Define and execute the organizations data science strategy in alignment with business goals
- Oversee the development of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify data-driven opportunities
- Ensure the accuracy, scalability, and performance of data solutions
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from data collection and preparation to model deployment
- Stay up to date with emerging data science techniques, tools, and industry trends
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership through clear storytelling and visualization
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (PhD is a plus)
- 6+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data insights
