We are seeking a senior professional with strong regulatory expertise and the ability to design policies, frameworks and governance structures from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands data-related regulations deeply, and can confidently lead clients in establishing robust data risk and governance foundations.
About the Role
You will be part of a dynamic Risk Services practice that helps organisations build trust, enhance resilience and navigate complex operational landscapes. The team provides independent assurance and strategic insights across technology, finance, regulatory requirements, data security, privacy, internal audit and third-party risk.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop and implement Data Risk & Governance frameworks and policies, including supporting processes to maintain a controlled and risk-managed environment
- Deliver advisory projects across data risk, data governance, data privacy, data protection, data quality and data compliance
- Provide subject matter expertise on MAS regulations and leading industry standards related to data risk management
- Develop risk assessment methodologies, frameworks and tools to support client programmes
- Act as a senior point of contact, managing client relationships and ensuring exceptional project delivery
- Drive integration of data risk services with broader service lines to deliver holistic client solutions
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in risk management, data privacy, data governance or related fields
- Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale data risk engagements within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of data-related regulations, industry standards and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with BCBS 239, IFRS 9, financial crime, financial instruments and associated risks
- Experience in a banking environment is an advantage
