JD - Data Migration & Cutover SME (Finance Transformation)
Role Overview
This role sits within a large-scale Finance Transformation programme and reports to the Data Migration & Cutover Lead. You will be responsible for supporting data migration, operational readiness, and cutover execution for the Accounting & Reporting (A&R) workstream.
The objective is to ensure accurate data migration into Oracle Fusion, execute a controlled and low-risk cutover, and enable a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations. This is a programme-level role requiring close collaboration with Finance, Technology, PMO, Change teams, and external vendors across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration & Strategy
• Support the planning and execution of the overall data migration approach, including scope, sequencing, timelines, and governance.
• Define data mapping, transformation logic, validation rules, and reconciliation processes in collaboration with Finance and Technology teams.
• Oversee end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, and loading into Oracle Fusion (e.g. historical balances, financial master data, and subledger transactions).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust reconciliation processes (e.g. trial balance and subledger-to-GL), with formal Finance sign-off.
Cutover Planning & Execution
•Assist in developing and maintaining detailed cutover plans and runbooks.
•Support the execution of mock cutovers and dress rehearsals to validate readiness.
•Coordinate and support go-live activities across business units, ensuring adherence to timelines and minimal disruption.
•Identify, escalate, and help resolve issues throughout cutover and go-live phases.
Operational Readiness
•Support readiness planning by tracking milestones, identifying gaps, and maintaining readiness checklists.
•Ensure all entry and exit criteria are met prior to go-live.
•Contribute to training, support models, and overall business preparedness for transition.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
• Provide coordination and governance support across Finance, Technology, PMO, and vendor teams.
• Assist in managing risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Support governance forums, including go/no-go decision checkpoints.
• Monitor delivery progress against milestones, timelines, and budget expectations.
Post Go-Live Support
• Support post go-live (hypercare) activities to ensure system stability and smooth transition into operations.
• Facilitate clear and timely communication with stakeholders throughout cutover and stabilization phases.

Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Migration, Cutover Management, or Operational Readiness within ERP programmes
• Proven experience in Oracle Fusion or ERP financial system implementations, with at least one full end-to-end implementation cycle
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as FBDI, ADFdi, or similar
• Strong understanding of financial data structures, processes, and systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skill
