Data Management Specialist

We're hiring aData Management Specialistto be deployed onsite with one of our major global financial services clients in Singapore. This is a full-time consulting role where you'll support enterprise data management operations within the Enterprise Data team. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of professional experience in data management, data governance, and operational support. Strong understanding of data quality processes and proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools is essential. You will be part of a team ensuring accurate, consistent, and compliant data across critical business systems, contributing to initiatives that enhance data integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain data quality and Service Level Agreement compliance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reconciliation activities.
• Analyze data and resolve issues to ensure accuracy and timely problem resolution.
• Handle user queries and requests effectively and clearly.
• Perform UAT activities to validate data integrity and system changes before deployment.
• Prepare high quality technical / functional documentation.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

Key Qualifications

• CAT-1 clearance is required as the role will have access to sensitive or controlled data.
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or Accounting.
• Experience in SQL for querying database, scripting and data analysis
• Experience in data management operations - reconciliation/quality checks for implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting within financial services
• Experience with the design, test, and implementation of data solutions
• Experience in performing UAT.
• Proven experience providing high quality documentation around technical/functional specifications. Data warehouse operations experience is a plus
