Job Description

Key outcomes and deliverables

.Programme design: Produce an end-to-end Data Literacy syllabus with learning outcomes, role-based pathways (general users and power users), and assessment approach.

. Curriculum build: Create training assets including facilitator guides, participant decks, exercises, quizzes, case studies, job aids, and reference materials.

.Training delivery: Deliver live instructor-led sessions (virtual and/or onsite) and facilitate hands-on labs using institution tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Tableau/Qlik, internal dashboards).

. Enablement & handover: Package a trainer kit and knowledge transfer so the client can run the programmed after project end.

. Measurement: Define and report training impact metrics (attendance, completion, quiz scores, confidence uplift, adoption/usage signals where available).

Responsibilities

. Conduct discovery with stakeholders (Data Management Office, Risk, Compliance, other business units) to tailor the curriculum to workflows and risk requirements.

. Write and maintain the catalog: course descriptions, pre-requisites, learning objectives, duration, target roles.

. Build scenario-based content relevant to financial services (e.g., KPI interpretation, data quality, governance, safe sharing).

. Ensure materials align to data governance principles (confidentiality, access control, retention, auditability).

. Gather feedback and iterate content quickly across cohorts.

. Coordinate with the Marketing/Campaign Lead on messaging, learner journey, and session demand shaping.

Required experience

. 5+ years in curriculum design / instructional design /training delivery (data literacy, analytics, BI, data governance, ordigital literacy).

. Proven track record building practical training in a regulated/enterprise environment (financial services preferred).

. Comfortable facilitating for mixed audiences (non-technical to power users).

. Strong writing and structuring skills for reusable training artefacts.

Skills and tools

. Instructional design (ADDIE or agile L&D), adult learning principles, facilitation.

. Data literacy topics: data concepts, KPIs, data quality, responsible data use, basic analytics thinking.

. Familiar with BI/reporting and common tools (Excel + one of Power BI/Tableau/Qlik is ideal).

. Assessment design (quizzes, practical exercises, capstones) and evaluation (Kirkpatrick or similar, lightweight).
