YOUR ROLE
Perform in-depth and complex analysis as it relates to software, processes or design for project planning requirements analysis, software testing, or end-user training activities for business applications to provide functional and/or business process leadership to the IT organization.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role - detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
Provide first level IT Support to internal and external stakeholders:
- Serve as the primary, on-site IT point of contact with groups, such as internal/external customer, sales, business process excellence, and other teams as appropriate.
- Maintain training materials, work instructions and conduct training with appropriate team(s), as required.
- Setup and maintenance of master data in CLL operational systems, such as user data, locations (origin / destination), routes / paths and other logistics master data
- Support master data gathering for new customer implementations and/or scope extensions
- Identify, log, and escalate as appropriate IT problems in the CEVA Help Desk system for tracking and analytical purposes.
- Maintain prioritized IT task list and coordinate with CEVA Corporate office to ensure task resolution occurs.
- Perform other duties, which may include operational assignments, as required.
Senior Super User - all of the above, in addition:
- Operate & maintain CEVA proprietary TMS applications. Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for CEVA application(s).
- Analyse, define and document the detail specifications for new & existing applications in compliance with CEVA IT ISO methodologies.
- Pro-actively & continuously seek to improve the highest level of service from the application(s).
- Identification of risks and the establishment of mitigation strategies.
- Define, configure, and troubleshoot owned portions of IT projects, including technical specifications, workflow options, and end-to-end functional integration.
- Collaborate with IT and business unit management and staff to develop, define and document business and operational requirements and critical success criteria for system enhancements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Bachelors degree or comparable work experience in supply chain / logistics or in an IT support function
- Experience in IT user support and / or application setup and maintenance (configuration, master data maintenance etc.), ideally in a supply chain or logistics environment
- 1-2 years experience (Junior)
- 3-5 years experience (Senior)
- For Senior Super user additionally: first experience with managing smaller teams (2-5 people), either as direct manager or in virtual settings (project teams)
- Technical and business analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge on MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- First experience with operational processes in transportation or supply chain / logistics / warehousing processes
- For Senior Super User additional: 3+ years experience with logistics applications (TMS, WMS, cross-dock management systems or large ERP environments), experience with standard EDI protocols and interfaces
- Ability to successfully multi-task and establish appropriate priorities with excellent follow-up skills
- Self-motivated personality, showing a positive & professional attitude in stressful environments
- Interface effectively with customers or other stakeholders effectively contribute as a team player
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) mandatory
- Willingness to occasionally support work schedules outside of standard business hours (evenings / weekends), e.g. in case of system releases, product launches or project go-lives
Desirable
- Experience with process documentation and preparing / providing trainings to larger groups desirable
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in customer facing projects in a supporting role
- Experience in ERP systems include but are not limited to SAP, Blue Yonder, Infornexus etc
- Experience in data analysis
