Data Engineering – AVP & VP | Singapore

We are working with one of the world's largest and most respected investment institutions on five strategic Data Engineering hires in Singapore:

These hires will help build and modernise the firm's enterprise data capabilities, creating scalable platforms that support investment research, portfolio management, risk analytics and data-driven decision-making across multiple asset classes.

What they are looking for:

• Strong, hands-on Databricks engineering experience
• Solid commercial experience with AWS (essential)
• Strong programming ability, particularly in Python
• Experience designing and delivering scalable data pipelines and platforms
• Good understanding of data architecture, engineering standards and production-quality development
• Ability to work closely with architects, engineers and business stakeholders
• For one VP position, experience managing permanent engineers and external vendors

These are genuinely hands-on positions. Even at VP level, candidates should remain technically engaged and comfortable contributing to design, development and delivery.
