DATA ENGINEER

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with around 3 years of experience to join our data team. The candidate should have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with Spark and Hive, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

.Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

.Work with Apache Spark for data processing, aggregation, and pipeline development.

.Develop and maintain Hive tables, queries, and scripts for big data workflows.

.Collaborate with senior engineers to design and optimize data pipelines.

.Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance across systems.

.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

.3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

.Strong SQL programming skills (mandatory).

.Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Hive (medium-level proficiency).

.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

.Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

.Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

.Banking domain working experience is highly preferred.
