Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain gaming data platforms and pipelines for both real-time and batch processing.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to support high-volume data ingestion and analytics use cases.
• Work with relational and distributed databases to ensure scalable and reliable data storage solutions.
• Support real-time streaming and batch processing systems using big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data engineering solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures, and basic system design.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Go and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with relational and distributed database systems.
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark, Flink, Kafka) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow is an advantage.
• Passion for data engineering and interest in the gaming industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin for effective communication with global stakeholders.
