We are hiring aspiring / proven data engineer to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
- Build and optimize relational and analytical data models to support reporting and dashboarding use cases
- Write complex, high-performance SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation
- Develop reusable Python scripts and frameworks for data processing, automation, and quality checks
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data validation and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with BI developers and business users to deliver Tableau dashboards and analytics datasets
- Optimize data structures and queries to improve dashboard performance and refresh times
- Implement and maintain data governance standards, including documentation, data definitions, and access controls
- Monitor data pipelines and resolve data issues, failures, and performance bottlenecks proactively
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product owners, and platform engineers
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL and Tableau.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in data engineering and business intelligence tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
