Data Engineer (Datawarehouse, modelling, big data, fast-growing business)

Role Summary
Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to build and optimize large-scale data infrastructure that supports business analytics and decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for designing data models, developing ETL pipelines, and ensuring high-quality, reliable data for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
• Develop and manage data models (fact/dimension tables) to support analytics use cases
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and engineers to understand business requirements
• Optimize query performance and improve data processing efficiency
• Implement data governance, data quality checks, and monitoring mechanisms
• Support real-time and batch data processing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 3-7+ years of experience in data warehouse or data engineering roles
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing
• Proficiency in Python / Java / Scala (at least one)
• Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Flink)
• Familiarity with data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Star Schema, etc.)
• Experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Hive, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
