Job Description
We're looking for a Full Stack Data Engineer to join a leading financial services organisation in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable data architectures and pipelines
- Build and enhance data platforms, ETL processes, and data models
- Support the deployment and operationalisation of AI/ML solutions
- Implement best practices around data quality, governance, metadata, lineage, and platform reliability
- Develop and maintain APIs and scalable microservices
- Contribute to cloud and hybrid data architecture initiatives
- Work closely with technology, data, business, and senior stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and enterprise integration initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-border and multicultural teams across the organisation
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, MLOps, Full Stack Engineering, or related areas
- Experience within the financial services / banking sector is highly preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, and/or Unix scripting
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Autosys
- Strong understanding of data management, data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps, ideally with tools such as Jenkins or Ansible
- Experience with cloud and data technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, EMR, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of ETL, physical data modelling, and data pipeline development
- Experience developing microservices and server-side APIs
- Front-end experience with React is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
