Your Role: As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our data platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture, pipelines and ETL processes
- Develop and maintain data platform, dashboards to support analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across all data platforms
- Develop and implement IAC and CICD to streamline and automate the deployment process
- Collaborate with Business units, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance
- Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform/warehouse.
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Proven experience in building data platforms in Cloud
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages
- Hands-on experience with IAC and Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka and Pub/Sub will be a huge advantage
- Experience in developing API endpoints over Apigee, integrating with Drupal-based Developer portals, and enabling monetization models is highly desirable as well
- Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
