Job Description
Operations & Infrastructure Support
- Support the operation and maintenance of data centre facilities and critical infrastructure.
- Monitor environmental, facility, and equipment conditions to ensure operational continuity.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, equipment installations, and vendor support.
- Maintain infrastructure assets, cabling, and facility organisation.
Security & Compliance
- Support physical security operations, including access management and monitoring systems.
- Assist with visitor coordination, security records, and compliance activities.
- Report operational, security, and facility-related incidents.
IT Operations
- Monitor system availability, performance, and operational alerts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and administration tasks.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, incident, change, and access management processes.
- Assist with security monitoring and routine operational checks.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain asset inventories, infrastructure records, and operational documentation.
- Record incidents, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.
- Prepare routine reports and ensure documentation remains current.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- Experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, data centre operations, or technical environments.
- Understanding of infrastructure systems, operational processes, security, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to support shift work or operational emergencies when required.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent.
- Data Centre Operations or Infrastructure-related certifications.
- Basic Systems, Networking, or Cloud certifications.
- Security and compliance awareness certification
