Data Centre Operations Engineer

We are looking for a Data Centre Operations Engineer to support the physical operations of the DC. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the ground - supporting DC cabling, rack & stack, hardware installation, and on-site execution - while coordinating with teams, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent customer outcomes. You will be reporting to the Team Lead who looks after DC Field Operations and will work closely with Safety Officers for the company who ensures work is done correctly, responsibly, and safely at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on support Rack & Stack, structured cabling, labelling, and hardware installation.
• Perform routine hardware checks and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Support deployment of servers and storage equipment
• Provide inventory support & update inventory system
• Follow and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and installation standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including updates to checklists and logs

Requirement:

• Comfortable working in DC environment
• Hands-on experience with working with Machine & Hardware Installation
• Can perform manual labor tasks - Rack & Stack Servers & Cabling
• Able follow SOP's & detailed instructions - update logbooks + systems.
• Team player - able to communicate & work on team-based tasks
