Data Centre Operations Engineer (2 years contract)

As a Data Centre Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing hardware inventory and asset management within our data centre and IT operations. This includes handling warranty claims, coordinating vendor RMAs, tracking inventory, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment of on-site data center physical infrastructure.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware and cabling.
• Handle data-bearing devices (e.g. HDDs, SSDs).
• Operate within a ticket-based support environment.
• Move equipment using pallet jacks or assisted lifting tools.
• Support inventory, shipping/receiving, and asset management activities during peak workloads.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• At least 1 year of relevant DC or IT Support & Monitoring environment
• CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+
• Basic Structured Cabling (BSC)
