Job Description:
Promach Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects involving Data Centre environments, building services systems, and fit-out works. The role requires coordination of construction, mechanical (ACMV), and electrical systems, with understanding of Data Centre operational requirements, ensuring smooth execution of upgrading, installation, and commissioning works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end execution of Data Centre and fit-out projects
- Coordinate site activities involving ACMV, electrical, and builder works
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems
- Support works related to cooling systems (CRAC / chiller), electrical infrastructure, and facility systems
- Coordinate with stakeholders on Data Centre requirements, including cooling, space usage, and infrastructure coordination
- Support project execution involving electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems, critical power distribution systems, battery replacement and upgrading works, and standby generator (genset) installation, erection, testing, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate works related to leak detection systems and monitoring systems within critical environments
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project timelines
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, schedules, and progress reports
- Support works carried out in live or operational environments with proper planning
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, building services, or Data Centre projects
- Experience or exposure in one or more of the following areas:HVAC / ACMV systems (e.g. CRAC, chiller systems)Electrical systems (e.g. UPS, power distribution, generator systems)Fit-out / A&A / upgrading worksTesting, commissioning, or troubleshooting works
- Basic understanding of Data Centre environments or critical facilities operations
- Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and manage site teams
- Familiar with Singapore safety and construction practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Data Centre or mission-critical projects
- Knowledge of facility operations or infrastructure systems
- Strong coordination and troubleshooting skills
