About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading global technology services provider that supports some of the world's largest hyperscalers and enterprise technology companies, including major names across AI, cloud computing and digital infrastructure.

They are looking for a Data Centre Critical Facilities Engineer to join their 24/7 operations team in Singapore, supporting mission critical infrastructure across large scale hyperscale and colocation environments.

This is an opportunity to work at the operational heart of some of the world's most advanced technology environments, monitoring critical infrastructure, responding to incidents and coordinating technical teams to maintain service availability.

The Role

Working from an office based operations environment, you will act as a first point of response for critical facilities alarms and incidents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring critical infrastructure systems through platforms such as BMS, DCIM and ECMS.
• Responding to alarms involving electrical power, cooling, environmental conditions and other critical facilities systems.
• Investigating alerts, performing initial fault diagnosis and assessing potential operational impact.
• Coordinating with onsite engineers, Smart Hands teams, vendors and site operations to investigate and resolve incidents.
• Monitoring critical infrastructure including UPS systems, battery plants, PDUs, generators, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units and cooling systems.
• Escalating complex incidents to the appropriate Level 2 and Level 3 engineering teams.
• Managing incident tickets, documenting troubleshooting activities and providing operational updates.
• Maintaining accurate shift handovers and following established SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Mandarin speaking: Professional spoken Mandarin communication skills are essential.
• Relevant technical experience: Approximately 1 to 5 years of experience in data centre operations, critical facilities, facilities monitoring, NOC or another mission critical environment.
• Infrastructure knowledge: Exposure to BMS, DCIM, ECMS, UPS, PDU, power distribution, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH or related monitoring systems.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, ticketing and escalation procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple technical teams.
• Comfortable working rotating 24/7 shifts, including 11 to 12 hour shifts, with scheduled rest days.
