Job Summary: Data Center Market Growth Lead, Asia Pacific (Emerson)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the APAC data center growth strategy aligned with regional and business unit objectives
- Lead strategic sales pursuits for large-scale data center projects, coordinating cross-functional teams (Control Systems & Software, Measurement Solutions, Final Control)
- Build, manage, and expand a qualified project pipeline across the region, with tracking and governance processes
- Develop trusted relationships with data center owners, operators, developers, EPCs, consultants, and channel partners
- Represent Emerson at industry conferences, customer events, and data center forums
- Monitor competitive activities and market trends, providing market intelligence to regional and global leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, data center infrastructure, critical facilities, or related industries
- Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder capital project sales pursuits
- Strong understanding of data center market dynamics and project development lifecycles
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific
Preferred:
- Experience selling to hyperscale cloud providers, colocation providers, or enterprise data center operators
- Familiarity with software, automation, instrumentation, and control valve solutions
- Knowledge of sustainability, energy optimization, and digitalization trends in data centers
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
