Support & Collaboration

  • Provide on-site technical support for networking and infrastructure teams within the data center.

  • Act as a liaison between on-site operations and remote networking or engineering teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including facilities, cabling, server, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Maintain accurate communication and documentation within ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure of incidents.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for critical issues when required.

Process, Documentation & Compliance

  • Document all work activities including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks to maintain accurate operational records.

  • Create, update, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain and track asset inventory, including receiving, installing, shipping, and managing spare parts and RMA equipment.

  • Follow established safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a compliant work environment.

Training & Development

  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with new technologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Complete training aligned with organizational objectives to expand technical capabilities and close skill gaps.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of experience in computer hardware, networking, or technical troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of server and network hardware, including routing and switching technologies.

  • Experience working with enterprise or service provider networking platforms (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Arista).

  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems, command-line interface (CLI) navigation, and industry-standard troubleshooting tools.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting within a data center environment.

  • Relevant educational qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of data center experience, particularly supporting server hardware, storage systems, and networking devices.

  • Experience with structured cabling (copper and fiber), cable testing, cooling systems, and electrical infrastructure in data centers.

  • Knowledge of technologies such as Linux, HTTP, DNS, RAID, DHCP, JUNOS, Cisco IOS, and Bash scripting.

  • Experience with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and shipping hardware components.
