Design, Engineering & Technical Leadership
Lead the design and development of all data centre mechanical systems, including chilled water plants, air handling systems, liquid cooling, fuel systems, fire protection, and plumbing.
Act as the Mechanical Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding consultants and contractors through all project phases: concept design, detailed design, procurement, installation, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning.
Perform and review critical engineering calculations (cooling load, hydraulic), equipment sizing, and selection to ensure systems meet safety, performance, and efficiency targets.
Own the conceptual design for new data centre builds, major infrastructure upgrades, and capacity enhancement projects.
Develop and maintain internal design specifications, drawings, and standards, incorporating lessons learned and latest technologies.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with core project teams to develop mechanical designs from Basis of Design (BOD) through to Issued for Construction (IFC) documents.
