Data Centre Protocol Engineer / Architect (Multiple Levels)

Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and optimize network protocols such as Ethernet, UEC, and UAlink for next-generation data centre networking.
- Perform protocol simulation, verification, and performance analysis using tools such as MATLAB, OPNET, SystemVerilog, and Python.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop test cases, technical documentation, and ensure smooth implementation across departments.
- Drive innovation in optical interconnection and AI-driven networking architectures, solving bottlenecks in large-scale interconnection.
- Participate in or lead contributions to international protocol standardization forums, representing the company in shaping future standards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to strengthen the company's protocol engineering capability and ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Communications, or Computer Science (Ph.D./Master's with strong experience preferred for senior roles).
- Hands-on experience in protocol design, analysis, or verification.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Python, and EDA tools experience with MATLAB/OPNET is a plus.
- Strong English communication and technical writing skills negotiation and leadership abilities required for senior roles.
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across functions.
