Install, terminate, test, and label copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling systems in residential, office, and data center environments.
Execute rack and stack activities, including the physical installation of servers, network switches, routers, and related IT equipment.
Perform hardware refresh, structured cabling upgrades, and patching activities as part of ongoing support and service improvement.
Conduct troubleshooting and fault isolation on structured cabling and network connectivity issues.
Perform site surveys, create accurate as-built documentation, and ensure compliance with cabling and electrical standards (EIA/TIA, ISO/IEC).
Coordination & Project Support
Coordinate with data center operations, project managers, and service delivery teams to ensure project milestones and SLAs are met.
Liaise with financial institution clients to schedule maintenance windows, minimize downtime, and align work with operational and security requirements.
Manage work orders, track materials, and maintain accurate service records for audit and compliance purposes.
Support logistics for equipment delivery, cabling inventory, and site readiness.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
Ensure all work complies with financial institution security protocols and change management procedures.
Adhere to data center access policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices during all installations.
Maintain high standards of documentation accuracy for auditing and regulatory reporting.
