Provide Data Centre operational supports

Day to Day Tape Movements

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Centre Operator to support the day-to-day operations of our data centre facilities. The role is responsible for monitoring systems, maintaining hardware, responding to incidents, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor data centre systems, servers, networks, and environmental controls (power, cooling, alarms)

- Perform routine operational tasks such as system checks, backups

- Manage rack, cable, label, and decommission servers and network equipment

- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in accordance with SLAs and procedures

- Escalate issues to engineering or vendor teams when required

- Maintain accurate documentation, inventory records, and change logs

- Support planned maintenance, upgrades, and data centre audits

- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and operational policies

- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite , M365

- Knowledge on Data Protector Software will be value added
