Data/BI Analyst (PowerBI)

The Opportunity

The Data Analyst(PowerBI) position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directlyoverseen by the Group's CIO. Our team currently comprises over 40 IT, software,and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai and Moerdijk (theNetherlands). With our IT presence in Singapore rapidly expanding, we areexcited to invite you to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

. Respond to userrequests to modify our existing PowerBI resources (10 workspaces, 30 semanticmodels, 100 dashboards) create new PowerBI resources when necessary.

. Use SQL and statisticaltechniques to analyze historical datasets, uncover trends, detect anomalies,and support data-driven decision-making.

. Design and developPowerBI dashboards, semantic models, and KPI definitions that serve globalbusiness needs across operations, finance, and commercial functions.

. Contribute to thecontinual improvement of our internal data models build and maintain SQL datamodels and transformations on top of the data marts provided by dataengineering (Azure Databricks).

. Regularly audit dataquality across our PowerBI resources and underlying data models.

. Maintain strong documentation practices and encourage knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements:

. 2+ years SQL experience, including data modeling and transformation work

. 2+ years PowerBI experience

. Comfortable communicating across technical and non-technical audiences able to translate business needs into data solutions

. Professional fluency in English

. Professional fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

. Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to project ownership and accountability for outcomes and timelines

Desirable Qualities:

. Experience with Databricks

. Python/Pandas experience

. Interest or experience in tank container, chemical shipping, or bulk liquid logistics
