Job Overview
We are seeking an intern who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to take on challenges in a fastpaced startup environment. You will be given real responsibilities, ownership of tasks, and the opportunity to contribute directly to company initiatives.
Responsibilities .
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing operational data from our vending machine network.
- Build dashboards and visual reports to track machine performance, product sales, stock levels, and customer behaviour.
- Support data modelling and forecasting to help predict demand, optimise product placement, and improve replenishment cycles.
- Identify trends, gaps, and anomalies in data to support decision-making across Operations, Sales, and Management teams.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and reporting accuracy.
- Support ad-hoc data projects, experiments, and pilot programs as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Mandarin speaking to liaison with Chinese counterparts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. .
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio) is a strong advantage. .
- Ability to interpret data and present findings in a clear and concise manner. .
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. .
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and contribute actively to team goals. .
- Strong communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
