Job Description
About the Role
Are you a data storyteller who thrives at the intersection of platform risk, anti-fraud and logistics operations
Our client is expanding their core analytics team in Singapore. They are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Data Analyst to drive data-led strategies across two critical business pillars: Platform Risk Control / Anti-Fraud and their rapidly growing logistics operations.
In this role, you will work directly on high-impact problems - detecting fraud patterns, optimizing driver-freight matching, and collaborating closely with our cross-border tech, product and algorithm teams in Singapore and the China HQ.
What You Will Do
- Risk & Anti-Fraud Analysis: Uncover suspicious patterns across transactional data, promo misuse, and organized fraud syndicates. Evaluate risk policies to balance user experience, interception rates, and loss mitigation.
- Logistics & Business Strategy: Dive deep into heavy-truck transport metrics (freight supply, capacity efficiency, driver matching, and dynamic pricing) to optimize fulfillment and drive business growth.
- Metrics & Monitoring: Build and maintain scalable dashboards, metrics trees, and automated monitoring systems to detect operational anomalies across multiple regional markets.
- Experimentation & Causal Inference: Design and evaluate A/B tests and phased rollouts for risk, product, and operational features to measure real financial impact.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Translate complex data insights into actionable strategies alongside product, tech, and algorithm teams - including frequent collaboration with their China HQ teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin (Required to collaborate daily with China HQ teams and read Chinese system documentation/code).
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on data analysis experience in Internet Platforms, Logistics, E-commerce, or Fintech/Payments.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with Big Data platforms (e.g., Hive, Spark, MaxCompute).
- Good understanding of statistical methods, A/B test design, and experimental frameworks.
- Sharp business acumen with a natural curiosity for digging into anomalous behavior and complex supply/demand dynamics.
