Data Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to support ongoing reporting, dashboard

maintenance/development and data quality activities within a banking environment.

The role will focus on ensuring reporting data is accurate and up to date, investigating

discrepancies, maintaining operational trackers and supporting improvements to existing

reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update and develop dashboards and reports, ensuring information

remains accurate and timely.

• Investigate data discrepancies and reporting issues, including incorrect data

triggers, missing information and inconsistencies.

• Maintain manual trackers and ensure data is regularly updated, validated and

properly recorded.

• Prepare and support weekly and monthly reporting for internal stakeholders.

• Perform data validation and reconciliation to identify and resolve inconsistencies.

• Use Excel and Python to analyse, manipulate and validate data.

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and resolve datarelated issues.

• Identify opportunities to improve or automate existing reporting and tracking

processes.

• Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.

• Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, analysis or automation.

• Experience maintaining/developing dashboards, reports and operational trackers.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating data

discrepancies.

• Good attention to detail and ability to work with large or complex datasets.

• Comfortable working with business and technical stakeholders.

• Previous experience within banking or financial services would be advantageous.

This is a rolling 12-months initial contract.
