As a Supply Chain Data Analytics Intern, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of planning, procurement, and demand planning. You will collaborate with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams to solve real-world supply chain challenges using data-driven methodologies and innovative analytics tools. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and the development of supply chain solutions that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supply chain managers, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate discovery sessions, gathering detailed business and technical requirements.
- Document and visualize supply chain data flows and process maps, using tools such as Microsoft Visio, or similar.
- Identify, collect, and organize data from multiple sources-both internal and external-using manual and automated methods (e.g., SQL queries, Excel, ETL tools).
- Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure its accuracy, quality, and usability for analysis.
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying dashboards and performance metrics utilizing data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Generate business presentations, formal written reports, and visual storytelling materials to communicate complex analytical findings to multiple audiences, including senior management.
- Participate in workshops and continuous learning opportunities to deepen your understanding of supply chain analytics and emerging industry trends.
Qualification & Skills:
- Minimum Diploma (or working towards) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in data analytics, with solid skills in Excel and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, or SQL).
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
- Strong data storytelling and communication skills ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and a passion for solving problems using data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, or machine learning concepts is a plus.
