- Analyze, correlate, interpret, and visualize large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Develop, formulate, and validate threat-hunting hypotheses based on intelligence, behavioral patterns, and emerging threats.
- Generate analytical insights and supporting evidence to inform operational and strategic decision-making.
- Curate, compile, and disseminate threat intelligence to internal and external counterparts to enable timely intervention and response actions.
- Translate technical findings, methodologies, and results into clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Formal education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science & Analytics, or an equivalent discipline.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and applications relevant cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
- A minimum of three years experience in data transformation, quantitative analysis, and interpretation of large datasets.
- Solid knowledge of statistical methods and concepts (e.g. regression analysis, probability distributions, hypothesis testing) with demonstrated practical application.
- Hands-on experience with big data analytics platforms and frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark, and the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Domain knowledge in Computer Networking, Network Security, or System Security is highly desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn, with the ability to independently acquire knowledge in new technologies and domains.
