We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & AI Engineer (Snowflake, AWS) to serve as the APAC representative for the Global Data Platform team. This is a unique role offering high visibility and impact, tasked with spearheading our data transformation initiatives, primarily leveraging Snowflake and AWS.

This position offers significant opportunities for global collaboration, allowing you to work closely with cross-regional peers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to build our next-generation data platform. You will start as the key expert for the APAC region, with a clear career path to move into a global leadership and contribution role.

about the job

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and advanced analytics tools
• Analyze stakeholder requirements to generate BI and Advanced Analytics datasets and develop consumption-ready data marts.
• Define and execute migration strategies from legacy databases (like PostgreSQL, MS SQL) to the Snowflake data warehouse.
• Propose and implement data model changes that adhere to global data warehouse standards.
• Implement data pipelines specifically designed for training and deploying AI and ML models.
• Handle unstructured data and contribute to real-time data processing capabilities.
• Manage the underlying cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS S3, etc.).
• Act as the APAC Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary contributor to global
• Ensure all data solutions meet requirements for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across cross-functional, global teams.

skills and experience required
The core environment is built on Snowflake and AWS.

You will be instrumental in the configuration and deployment of a new, global Snowflake-based data warehouse, moving beyond proof-of-concept into a full production environment.

The role involves heavy data preparation and pipeline development to support sophisticated AI/ML use cases, including those involving LLMs and RAG pipelines.

The permanent role for a Data & AI Engineer (Snowflake, AWS) will pay a salary range of $ 7,000 to $ 8,000 plus perks from the company.
