Hiring: Database Administrator Remote (Philippines)

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our technology team. If you have strong expertise in SQL Server 2016+, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse, this is your chance to work on exciting projects in a fully remote setup!

Location: Remote Philippines

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 58 years SQL Server DBA experience | 24 years Azure Data Factory/Azure Synapse experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
• Manage Azure Data Factory pipelines and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and disaster recovery
• Conduct backups, index maintenance, and consistency checks
• Collaborate with development teams for database design and best practices
• Automate repetitive DBA tasks for efficiency
• Support database migration from on-premises to Azure

Required Skills:

• SQL Server Administration (2016 and above)
• Azure Data Factory & Azure Synapse
• Performance tuning, indexing strategies, backup & recovery
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication in English

Preferred Skills:

• Azure SQL Database Administration
• Business Central database admin knowledge
• Microsoft Fabric EDW
• Azure Certifications (DP-900, DP-300)
