Dance Studio Admin (Part-Time)

We are a creative studio in Singapore offering dance classes (K-pop, Jazz Funk etc), venue for content creation, and event space rental. Our studio offers a spacious dance floor, grand piano and projector room for multipurpose activities. We are seeking a reliable and proactive team member to support daily operations and enhance the customer experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• Handle front desk duties: welcome customers and respond to inquiries

• Manage bookings, student registrations, and payment processing

• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the studio environment

• Support smooth daily operations before, during, and after classes/events

• Assist instructors and event organizers as needed

Customer Communication:

• Respond to inquiries via appointments, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat, XiaoHongShu (小红书)

• Communicate clearly in English and Chinese with customers

Content & Marketing Support:

• Take photos and short videos during classes and events

• Create simple posters or edits using Canva

• Support basic social media updates (training provided if needed)

Working Environment & Hours:

• The studio offers 24-hour access for bookings and usage

• Operational hours: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm daily

• Flexibility required to support different shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends/PH.

• Comfortable with short-notice scheduling based on operational needs

Requirements

Preferred Background:

• Experience in F&B, hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing roles

• Candidates with a background in dance, music, or performing arts will be prioritized

Skills:

• Able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese

• Basic ability to use Canva or willingness to learn

• Capable of taking basic photos and videos using a mobile phone/camera

• Organized, responsible, and proactive

Work Attitude:

• Hands-on approach, willing to support admin and operational tasks

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the studio space

• Reliable, punctual, adaptable to changing schedules

• Positive attitude, problem solver and willingness to learn

Salary & Progression:

• Monthly Salary: SGD $700 - $1,800 (depending on experience and responsibilities)

• Entry/Intern level starting from SGD $700

• Higher salary for candidates with relevant experience and capabilities

Growth Path:

• Trial Period 1-3 months is required

• Salary reviews based on performance, reliability, work quality, and initiative

• Opportunities to grow into long-term or full-time roles

Eligibility:

• Open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and candidates with Work Holiday Pass.
