Job Description

A global multinational I'm partnering with is investing heavily in its security roadmap. They're looking for a Cybersecurity Technical Project Manager who can take ambitious security initiatives and actually land them.

Think less status tracker and more the person who makes sure the plan holds up. You'll be in the room with engineers and architects, asking the hard questions early and keeping several moving pieces in sync.

What you'll do

  • Drive security projects from kickoff through go-live and into steady-state operations
  • Turn high-level security goals into a delivery plan people can actually execute: who does what, by when, and what done looks like
  • Keep a portfolio-level view so parallel projects don't collide over people, timelines or dependencies
  • Rally teams you don't manage, from infrastructure, cloud and apps to regional IT, around shared delivery goals
  • Manage external partners and keep them accountable for what they've committed to
  • Give leadership short, clear updates that point to the decisions they need to make
  • Make sure what gets delivered is owned, supported and sustainable after handover

What you'll work on first

  • Resilience: DR, backups and recovery from cyber incidents
  • Identity and access (IAM)
  • Securing cloud and network environments
  • Encryption and protecting sensitive data
  • Asset visibility and inventory

About you

  • Several years running technical delivery in large enterprises, ideally security-focused or infrastructure-heavy
  • Technical enough to follow an architecture diagram and keep up when engineers go deep
  • You've taken projects through migration, integration, go-live and handover to support
  • Exposure to security transformation, cloud, IAM or infrastructure programmes is a big plus
  • Background in IT, engineering, cybersecurity or similar, whether through study or on-the-job experience
  • You keep things organised and lightweight, with no process for process's sake
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or security certifications are nice to have, not required
