Cybersecurity Sales Support Specialist

ITSEC Asia is an international cybersecurity firm established in 2010, providing a broad range of information and cybersecurity services and solutions. Our capabilities span security assessment, application security, risk and compliance, OT/IoT security, managed security services, and digital forensics and incident response. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Sales Support Specialist to support our cybersecurity services business in Singapore. The role works closely with the Sales and Technical teams to manage customer enquiries, understand requirements, prepare quotations and proposals, and support tender and RFQ submissions. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with both commercial and technical information and have an interest in developing their knowledge of cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Sales team in handling customer enquiries and cybersecurity service requirements.

•Review customer requirements, RFQs and tender documents to identify scope, deliverables and submission requirements.

•Assist in scoping cybersecurity assessment and professional services engagements based on customer requirements.

•Identify missing information and prepare appropriate clarification questions for customers.

•Work with cybersecurity consultants and technical leads to determine the appropriate scope, effort, methodology and project timeline.

•Prepare quotations, proposals, scope of work and commercial submissions.

•Support tender and RFQ submissions, including preparation and compilation of the required documentation.

•Coordinate with Sales and Technical teams on project scheduling and resource availability.

•Maintain and update quotation/proposal templates, pricing information and supporting documents.

•Follow up with customers and internal stakeholders on outstanding information, quotations and project confirmation.

•Ensure that scope, assumptions, exclusions and deliverables are clearly documented prior to project commencement.

•Support the handover of confirmed projects from Sales to the technical delivery team.

Requirements

•Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related discipline.

•Preferably 1-3 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates and candidates looking to transition into the cybersecurity industry are welcome to apply.

•Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, or a strong interest and willingness to develop knowledge in cybersecurity.

•Able to understand customer and technical requirements and translate them into clear proposals and quotations.

•Good written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing customer requirements, pricing schedules and tender documents.

•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

•Able to manage multiple customer enquiries and deadlines concurrently.

•Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers and internal technical teams.

•Willing to learn and continuously develop knowledge of cybersecurity services and technologies.

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who is organised, technically inclined and commercially aware, including fresh graduates or professionals looking to transition into cybersecurity.

The candidate does not need to be a cybersecurity engineer or penetration tester. More importantly, they should be curious, willing to learn, comfortable working with technical information, and able to communicate clearly with different stakeholders.

The role provides exposure to both the commercial and technical aspects of cybersecurity services, including understanding customer requirements, scoping engagements with technical consultants, preparing quotations and proposals, supporting tenders, and coordinating projects through to handover.
