Our client is a global investment organization operating in a highly dynamic financial markets environment. Technology reliability and strong cybersecurity capabilities are critical to supporting the firm's trading activities and safeguarding sensitive data.
They are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join the regional cybersecurity team based in Singapore. This position will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of cybersecurity initiatives aimed at strengthening the firm's security capabilities while ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the planning and execution of cybersecurity initiatives from initial scoping through implementation and completion.
- Manage projects involving security technology deployment, operational security processes, and security governance initiatives.
- Work closely with technology, infrastructure, risk, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and service providers involved in cybersecurity implementations.
- Maintain structured project documentation including plans, milestones, progress updates, and risk tracking for leadership review.
- Facilitate adoption of new security processes by supporting communication, training, and integration into existing operational workflows.
- Ensure cybersecurity initiatives are delivered in accordance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Job Requirements
- 5-15 years of experience in cybersecurity project management, ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex technical initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating projects that involve third-party vendors, security tools, or managed service providers.
- Solid understanding of key cybersecurity areas such as cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, network security, and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with industry security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CISM, or Agile-related credentials would be a plus.
