Job Duties:
- Monitor system health, refine alerts, and optimize thresholds to ensure accurate detection and reduce false positives.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time visibility of system performance.
- Lead incident response for security events, outages, and performance issues to minimize service disruption.
- Collaborate with SOC teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders during security investigations.
- Implement and maintain security controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical incidents, identify systemic issues, and implement preventive measures.
- Support configuration management processes, including CMDB maintenance and asset inventory accuracy.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Generate reports and dashboards on system performance, security metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging analytics and trend data to enhance system resilience.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field professional certifications preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration, cybersecurity, or IT operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in network security principles, SIEM platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with CMDB systems, ITIL processes, and IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical, incident response, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
- Preferred: Professional certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.), knowledge of ServiceNow modules, automation/orchestration tools, and experience in regulated industries.
