Our typical client is a medium to large-sized organization that lacks the in-house resources to address the challenges of a rapidly changing threat landscape. The difficulty of hiring and retaining cybersecurity professionals are widely understood but our prospective clients also struggle to effectively harness technology and build hardened processes.

Responsibilities

. Migration Security Assurance (Ex. VMware Hyper-V)

o Validate the VMware to Hyper-V migration strategy from a cybersecurity and resilience perspective.

o Identify migration-phase risks, required security controls, and rollback safeguards.

. Validate post-migration integrity and operational status of cybersecurity tools on migrated servers, including:

o Trend Micro (Extended Detection and Response - XDR)

o Qualys (Risk-Based Vulnerability Management)

o Microsoft Sentinel (Security Information and Event Management - SIEM)

o Perform troubleshooting and remediation where required.

. Network Security Enablement

o Support Trend Micro DDI (DNS / DHCP / IPAM) implementation within the new Azure Landing Zone.

o Validate:

o DDI integration and security hardening

o High availability (HA) and failover design

o Operational readiness and monitoring

. Logging, Telemetry & Detection

o Redeploy and validate log collectors to support the new deployment architecture.

o Confirm control coverage, telemetry visibility, detection efficacy, and policy enforcement post-migration.

o Zero Trust & Remote Access Architecture

o Reassess the current and future Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) architecture.

o Define a target-state ZPA design aligned with future workloads and access patterns.

o Support reconfiguration or redeployment of ZPA connectors, including health checks and validation.

. Hyper Care & Operational Support

o Provide post-deployment / post-migration Hyper Care support, including:

o Incident triage and response support

o Security control tuning and optimization

o Environment stabilization and operational assurance
