Cyber Security Manager (Technology)

About the Company:

Our client is the a Technology client that is expanding their presence in Singapore. As part of the company's expansion plan, they are looking to hire for a Cyber Security Manager based in Singapore.

You will take charge of our enterprise-wide security strategy and operations. You'll lead a capable team covering governance, risk & compliance (GRC), threat & vulnerability management, and security operations, working closely with infrastructure, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive cyber resilience.

You'll be a key member of the technology leadership team, helping shape a secure and scalable environment that supports business growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of security architecture and be the point-of-contact for technology GRC to ensure compliance with regulatory benchmarks
• Oversee security operations including incident response, vulnerability management, security controls, covering both on-premises and cloud
• Designing, executing, and enhancing incident response plans and leading investigations to minimize business impact and ensure regulatory reporting
• Present internally to C-suite stakeholders on Cybersecurity updates
• Provide technical support across diverse security technologies including firewalls, IAM/PAM, SOAR, SIEM, virtualization), implement encryption, and maintain robust documentation and procedures
• Mentor junior team members and engage with external SOC and Cybersecurity vendors

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years as a team lead
• Hands-on experience with hybrid environments (Cloud + On-prem)
• Strong experience in a wide-range of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, Firewalls and IAM tools
• Strong grasp of GRC, Incident Response, Identity Access Management, Vulnerability Management and Firewalls
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience in Cybersecurity Originators, Network Infrastructure or Telecommunications industry will be preferred
