About the Role:

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer with Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) expertise to join our team. In this role, you won't just monitor alerts—you will serve as a core investigator and incident commander, analysing complex multi-environment breaches, building automation playbooks, and fortifying our security posture against modern threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Incident Response & Forensics: Investigate complex security incidents across Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), On-Premise, and Hybrid setups using modern forensic tools.
• Threat Correlation & Analysis: Deep-dive into log data, correlate telemetry across network and endpoints, identify root causes, and contain active breaches.
• Incident Command: Facilitate and lead incident response calls, coordinating swiftly across cross-functional technical teams and management.
• Post-Incident Engineering: Conduct post-mortem reviews to extract actionable intelligence and continuously refine Incident Response playbooks and workflows.
• Operational Readiness: Serve as a rotational duty officer supporting emergency incident response outside regular working hours when needed.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Cloud Security.
• Tech Stack Mastery:
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Network Detection & Response (NDR) tools.
• Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Evidence acquisition and digital forensics suites.
• Deep Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud architecture security, and attack vectors.
• Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex forensic findings into clear technical reports and executive summaries.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CCSP, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GCFR, GEIR, MCFE, or EnCE.
