Location: Raffles Place

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing technology company in the Commodity / Energy Trading Software (C/ETRM) industry.

Our client provides a modern, cloud-based trading and risk management platform used by global commodity and energy trading organisations to manage trade lifecycle, risk exposure, and compliance.

Due to business expansion, they are looking for a Cyber Security Executive to join their growing team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for securing and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, ensuring high availability, system performance, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with cybersecurity experience who are keen to deepen and broaden their expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be involved in performing hands on Cyber Security and assisting Customers/ Stakeholders in addressing to CyberSecurity matters.
  • Enhance and continuously improve cloud security infrastructure
  • Monitor systems proactively and manage security threats
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing initiatives
  • Strong in vulnerability scanning and security assessments of applications, including client/server software and mobile apps, to be deployed in corporate networks.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and support improvements aligned to NIST framework
  • Support certification initiatives such as SOC 2
  • Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades
  • Monitor production environments to ensure uptime and security
  • Manage test and development environments where required
  • Maintain cybersecurity housekeeping processes and documentation
  • Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity best practices
  • Support sales team with cybersecurity-related responses for RFPs
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect the organization's IT assets.
  • Handle Customer's ICT and cybersecurity incident response plan through ongoing security reviews and audits
  • Handle ad-hoc cybersecurity-related tasks

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity (any domain)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 is advantageous
  • Possess CyberSecurity certifications.
  • Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 certification and improve on NIST Gap Assessment.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
