Cyber Intelligence Associate

As a Cybersecurity Intelligence Associate in Cybersecurity & Tech Controls, you will be instrumental in protecting the firm's digital assets and infrastructure. Utilizing your deep understanding of cybersecurity intelligence methods, you will monitor and assess industry-specific attack vectors, identify emerging trends, and evaluate potential risks to systems, data, the brand, and clients. Your contributions will have a direct impact on team and department objectives, and will inform firm-wide risk mitigation and remediation strategies. Your role is vital in enhancing the firm's security posture and defending against the continuously evolving cyber threat landscape.

Job responsibilities

. Proactively monitor and analyze global cyber threats, using intelligence from various sources to identify trends and potential risks to the firm's systems, data, and clients

. Conduct thorough assessments of potential cyber threats, applying advanced analytical techniques and tools to evaluate the credibility, impact, and likelihood of threats materializing

. Collaborate in analysis sessions with peers, sharing insights and refining findings on relevant cyber-attacks, contributing to plans for intelligence enrichment and dissemination

. Assist in creating and refining threat hunting playbooks, incorporating best practices and regulatory requirements for effective threat detection and response

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines

. 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, Information Security, or related field

. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell) for task automation and data analysis

. Demonstrated ability in (Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research, social media trend analysis, and public source information gathering

. Strong knowledge of information security principles, network protocols, and malware analysis techniques
