Job Description

Job Title: CW Analyst (Margin Operations Analyst)
Contract: 6 months (Extendable)
Location: Central, Singapore
Skills Required: Operations experience (2+ years), Margin Calls

Role Overview
We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Margin Lending team. This role involves monitoring client exposure and ensuring accounts remain within approved limits, as well as calculating and issuing margin calls and ensuring timely resolution. You will also support regulatory reporting, operational controls, and contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and client query resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and issue margin calls for PWM clients
  • Validate and ensure all margin calls are issued in a timely manner
  • Monitor client exposure and ensure adherence to risk limits
  • Respond to incoming queries and coordinate with stakeholders across Risk, Credit, and Technology teams
  • Resolve and escalate client disputes and operational issues where necessary
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements on a daily basis
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancement projects
  • Contribute to project and initiative management across teams and regions
  • Ensure strong controls and operational efficiency across all processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of operations experience, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Exposure to margin calls or margin lending is preferred
  • Good understanding of financial products, risk, and controls
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, comfortable working with data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication abilities with a proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Exposure to Risk, Credit, Front Office, or regulatory reporting is a plus.
