Job Description

The client is the world leading semiconductor fabrication provider with presence in Singapore for over 20 years. Below position is open urgently.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: East Singapore

Working Hour: 12-hour shift work

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant to join our Thin Film CVD Process Department, supporting engineers in sustaining production excellence and driving process improvements.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Assist CVD Process Engineers with production line activities to meet operational goals.
  • Perform 12-hour rotating shifts to support CVD production and ensure process integrity of tools.
  • Monitor and sustain SPC performance, fine-tuning processes to ensure product quality.
  • Act as a buddy for new Associate Engineers during their On-the-Job Training (OJT).
  • Collect, review, and analyze defect and WAT data according to procedures.
  • Handle products affected by tool faults or exceeding defect warning limits in compliance with defined procedures, ensuring recovery of tools to baseline performance before production release.
  • Provide accurate pass-down of line issues, outstanding tasks, and diligently follow up.
  • Set up metrology recipes for thin film tools and perform regular housekeeping of files.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards in both office and fab areas.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant parties during shift work, escalating issues per SOP guidelines.
  • Participate actively in Transform Platform initiatives to improve productivity and quality.

More About You

  • ITC / NTC in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • 1-2 years experience in front-end semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in at least two of the following:
    -Wafer Fabrication Technology
    -Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong ability to work in a multicultural environment with clear and concise communication skills.
  • Disciplined, procedure-oriented, and a positive learner with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to perform 12-hour shifts work and work under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
