We're looking for a Billing Customer Service Specialist preferably with Payments / Tech industry background.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, refunds, and subscriptions across multiple support channels.
- Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, including transaction discrepancies and failed transactions, by working with internal systems and external partners.
- Clearly explain billing information, charges, and policies to customers in a professional and easy-to-understand manner.
- Identify recurring billing or payment issues and provide insights to help improve processes, systems, and overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Operations, and Engineering to resolve complex issues and support ongoing business initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1+ years of experience in billing support, payment operations, customer service, or a related role.
- Familiarity with payment platforms or gateways and subscription-based billing models is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions.
- Experience working in a technology, digital, or SaaS environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Professional and empathetic approach when handling financial or payment-related inquiries.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of cases.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
This is a contract role based in Singapore.
