Provide patients a positive experience while they are being treated at our dental clinic and support the running of the practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Telephone/Email Coverage
- Answering calls and responding to inquiries.
- Reminder calls for appointment confirmation and rescheduling appointments.
- Reply to patient's inquiries through email.
Registration
- Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler with a high rate of accuracy.
- Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate.
- Check patients medical history and drug allergies.
- Check for insurance coverage and intention to use insurance or government subsidies such as CHAS.
Collection
- Collects payment from patients, applies payments to patient accounts in the computer system, and reconciles daily cash reports.
Clinic Administration
- Locating patient files and cases.
- Prepare PowerPoint for doctor counseling.
- Process claims with insurance companies and government agencies e.g. CHAS, Medisave.
- Liaising with dental labs for sending and receiving of cases.
- Recording lab charges and deducting from dentist takings.
Financial and Product Counseling
- Educate and teach patient on correct use of braces and Invisalign.
